There comes a moment in every leader’s life when they have to make a decision.
Not a huge decision. Not a “change-the-course-of-history” decision.
But an important one.
Will I order BBQ for my people on Friday, June 26?
I’m here to gently suggest that the answer should be yes.
Redeemed Living is hosting a BBQ Plate Fundraiser on Friday, June 26, and for $12 a plate, you can feed your office, your crew, your staff, your family, or that one coworker who somehow always appears when food is involved.
Each plate includes:
Slow-smoked pulled pork
Homemade baked beans
Potato salad
Fresh roll
Cookie
This is not one of those situations where the cause is amazing and the food is... a character-building exercise.
This is real BBQ.
The pork is being smoked fresh that morning, and every plate helps support Redeemed Living’s mission of providing the Forgotten Step — that critical season between rehab and real life when men need housing, structure, accountability, transportation, and support as they rebuild their lives.
That part is deeply personal to me. Addiction used to be part of my story too, and Redeemed Living exists because I know firsthand that real recovery takes more than a moment. It takes community, time, and people who care enough to walk with you.
So yes, I’m asking you to buy BBQ.
But I’m also inviting you to help fund second chances.

Leadership shows up in many forms. Sometimes it looks like vision. Sometimes it looks like courage.
And sometimes it looks like feeding your team pulled pork and a cookie.
I appreciate your support more than you know.
P.S. If you’re not the one who orders lunch, please forward this to the true leader in your office.
