As we prepare for Mulligans for Life on Tuesday, November 10, I want to highlight one of our sponsors, The Mailbox Club, led by John Mark Eager.

The Mailbox Club began in 1965 when George and Laura Eager started a follow-up ministry for children reached through George’s assembly programs in rural schools across the Southeast. That school ministry spanned more than 50 years and touched over 1.3 million children and youth.
But God had bigger plans.
As others saw the value of discipling children and young people through Bible correspondence courses, the ministry began to spread. In 1990, John Mark Eager joined The Mailbox Club to help a ministry partner develop a discipleship program for children in Eastern Europe using TMC Bible lessons.
Again, God had bigger plans.

Today, The Mailbox Club serves in more than 100 countries, with more than 14 million students enrolled each year, most of them children. While the ministry began through the mail, many children today are discipled by mentors in schools, clubs, churches, and small groups. Their lessons are true to the Word of God, written at a level children can understand, and built on the belief that every child should hear the Gospel in their own language.
That mission is powerful. And at Redeemed Living, we see a deep connection between their work and ours.
The Mailbox Club understands that a first response is not the finish line. Children who hear the Gospel need follow-up, discipleship, encouragement, and faithful mentors to help them take the next step.
At Redeemed Living, we believe the same is true for men recovering from addiction.
Many of the men who come to us have already taken a brave first step. They have gone through detox, treatment, incarceration, or crisis. They want a new life. But the next step is critical.
That is why Redeemed Living exists to fill “the forgotten step” — the bridge between rehab and real life.
Insurance may pay for a short stay in treatment, but it does not pay for the next 12 months of daily structure, accountability, brotherhood, employment support, and spiritual formation that men need to truly rebuild their lives. Without that support, 85% of men relapse within 90 days of leaving rehab.
Redeemed Living stands in that gap.
We provide a safe, sober home, daily structure, steady employment expectations, Bible study, recovery groups, peer accountability, and a brotherhood that walks with men through the hardest months of rebuilding.
The Mailbox Club disciples children around the world. Redeemed Living walks with men rebuilding their lives here in South Georgia. Both ministries are built on a shared conviction:
Lasting transformation requires faithful follow-up.
We are grateful to John Mark Eager and The Mailbox Club for sponsoring Mulligans for Life and standing with us in this mission.
If you have not registered yet, we would love for you to join us.
